For entertainment at your National Healthcare Housekeeping Week recognition event, look for hidden talent within your own facility. Find staff members from other departments who like to sing, play the piano, tell jokes, etc., and encourage them to perform. This year, create a slightly different awareness bulletin board for National Healthcare Environmental Services Week. Before the week begins, give a disposable camera to someone on your team, with instructions to take casual photos of a second team member working. Have the first person pass the camera to the second person after the photos are taken, and repeat the process until everyone has been photographed. Develop the film, then arrange the photos on a bulletin board.
